âÂÂÂÂ?ÂÂÂÂ?We need to ensure that all our local and state presidents are aware that this information is available and that they are aware of it.
If members are having problems getting gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, etc. they should contact their local representatives. If that does not address the problem locals should contact their NBAs to escalate to Regional Coordinators if they cannot get the items addressed locally.
We have attached the mandatory stand-up talks the Service has sent out through today.
We have attached the posters that the Postal Service has sent out and instructed that they be posted in break areas and restrooms of all facilities.
There is general information on COVID-19 provided by the CDC. Including the recommendations of frequent handwashing. The Postal Service affirmed the CDC recommendations are also their recommendations.
We attached DRAFT MMO-031-20 Influenza and Coronavirus Contingency. Although this says it is a draft, the postal service has put it into effect immediately. We are currently reviewing it to see if we have concerns.
We will continue to send out information as the Postal Service sends it out to us and the website listed above will be added to frequently. It is a good idea to bookmark it and come back often.
Please continue to follow the recommendations and stay healthy and safe at work.
