I am writing to you today in support of a bill currently sitting in congress awaiting further action. This bill H.R. 4268: Federal Retirement Fairness Act would help many of us who have time that was not counted towards FERS. Currently if you have time prior to 1988 it is counted. This bill would get rid of that arbitrary time frame and allow us younger federal employees to enjoy the same benefit that our predecessors enjoyed.
