Volunteer Packaging Event

Join Iowa ACEs 360 and the Iowa Alliance for Healthy Kids as we package 300 kits for more than 60 summer programs in central Iowa. Volunteers will help count and sort handouts, books, and supplies and put items into boxes that will then be delivered or picked up by programs that serve young children and their families.

Volunteer shifts will take place in the conference room at the Synergy Center on May 26 and 27. The Synergy Center is located at 501 SW 7th St., Suite G, Des Moines, IA 50309. Light refreshments will be provided. Contact communications@aces360.org with any questions.

All Sesame Street-branded activities are focused on helping young children build social-emotional skills, like naming and exploring their feelings, coping with stress, problem solving, and building positive relationships.  

Central Iowa is one of 13 communities nationwide partnering with Sesame Street in Communities. Iowa ACEs 360 provides the backbone support for the Iowa Alliance for Healthy Kids, a group of organizations working on this initiative. Learn more at www.iowaallianceforhealthykids.org.
