Rally - Prioritize My Mailbox
Des Moines, Iowa — Iowans will rally outside the post office in Des Moines on Friday to raise awareness about the Delivering for America Plan.
On July 28th the Iowa Postal Worker Union (IPWU) will welcome Postmaster Louis DeJoy to Iowa with a Prioritize My Mailbox rally to raise awareness about problems facing rural communities under DeJoy’s Delivering for America Plan.
Postal employees who interact with customers everyday hear the hardships that have been created by longer delivery times and increased prices. This rally will highlight customer stories and raise awareness for the challenges that the changes have created for Iowans and others living in rural areas of the country.
