Attached is the flyer for the Iowa Mini State/2020Tri-State Reboot. As you will see the University of Iowa Labor Center will be providing education on the very timely topics of Racism and Member Engagement. In addition the National Business Agents will revisit some basic stewards skills that are sometimes not fully developed in new steward training and discuss changes to the JCIM. This training is being entirely sponsored by the IPWU, there will be no registration fee. We encourage locals to have members interested in becoming stewards attend as well as veteran stewards and officers. Members in small offices without locals are also being invited to attend this training. It is a great way to better understand our contract and the grievance process as well as become more familiar with bigger social issues and the union's part in addressing challenges in ways that lift all workers.
